I am Witch Mulya, a witch of the powerful Nkafu Temple, which is situated in the majestic Busitema Forest in the serene and potent area of Busitema, Busia, Uganda. Having a strong connection to the spirits and energies of the land and water around us, I come from a long line of witches. From my father Bamusakata to my grandpa and great-grandfather, all of my ancestors practiced the age-old skill of witchcraft, and they all passed on their knowledge, customs, and wisdom to me.  I was drawn to the spirits at a very young age because I was raised in this hallowed heritage. I started actively practicing witchcraft when I was eleven years old, under the direction and selection of the strong spirits of the Nkafu Temple. The power of our temple has always been derived from these spirits, who are rooted in the spiritual trees of Busitema Forest. In addition to guiding generations of witches in our family and passing down knowledge that has influenced our practice over hundreds of years, they are present in the land, the river, and the air around us. The Nkafu Temple's Lineage  For decades, the Nkafu Temple has served as a center of mystical knowledge and heavenly connection, yet it is more than just a location. It is located next to Busitema Forest, a location that the spirits themselves selected. It is said that the spirits of this hallowed location can communicate with one another through the forest's trees, as well as through signals, dreams, and visions. Since the Forest is thought to contain ancient wisdom and power that enable witches like me to use their skills, our family has had a strong bond with it for many generations. The tradition of my family is rooted in a profound reverence for the land and its spirits. In our tradition, practicing witchcraft involves more than merely casting spells or carrying out rituals; it also entails comprehending the more profound relationships that exist between nature, the spirit realm, and humans. It has to do with balance, humility, and respect. Growing up, I was able to observe my father Bamusakata's exceptional abilities, as well as those of my grandfather and great-grandfather before him. Each of them contributed to our temple's precious teachings and passed on their wisdom to the following generation, making them all masters in their own way. It wasn't by accident that the spirits choose me when I was eleven years old. The Nkafu Temple's spirits had discerned the calling of my soul. They made me aware of the ancestors' knowledge and skills that had been handed down through the ages. Witchcraft was not taught to me in the traditional sense; instead, it was shown to me through dreams, visions, and talking directly with the spirits that have always led mankind.  The Function of Busitema Forest in Spirituality  I've discovered how to use the ancient energies that run through the trees of Busitema Forest thanks to my connection with it. I hear from the Forest's spirits in whispers, visions, and dreams. They show me how to employ nature's forces to make people's lives more balanced and harmonious when they ask for help. My practice of witchcraft has been influenced by the teachings of the wise and strong Tree spirits. My Work and Offerings  My goal as a witch is to assist people in achieving the harmony, tranquility, and change they desire in their lives. I provide a variety of services to people who seek my advice using the age-old methods that have been handed down through my family. The Witch's Journey Being a witch is a lifelong process of development, education, and communication with the otherworldly realm; it is not simply about using magic. It involves gaining a profound comprehension of the energies, elements, and forces that influence our existence. Respect for all living things, visible and invisible, is necessary. Being a witch has meant that I have had to be humble, learn, and serve the spirits that lead me and others who need my assistance. Every part of my existence is shaped by the advice of the spirits of the Nkafu Temple, who are my constant friends. They assist me in connecting with people who come to me for assistance, casting spells, and carrying out rituals. I am reminded as I proceed along this path that witchcraft is not a tactic used for manipulation or control. It is a holy art of healing, balance, and reverence for the world's circulating energy.
